Brooke Stern has lived her life in Denver and the surrounding area. She and her husband start each day early with their three kids, who are all under six years of age. Then her school days are full of engaging with students through math and on a personal level. She has her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from CSU, a Master of Arts in Adventure Education from Prescott College, and an MA in Adaptive Leadership from Adams State University. Brooke designs projects that apply all levels of math skills to real life experiences. She values creating community, leading others in service, and volunteering. Her hobbies include running, exercise, playing in parks with family and friends, playing board games, and hiking.

Brenden Harrison

Math

Brenden is a born and raised Coloradan. He grew up in Durango, Colorado with his parents and two younger sisters. After high school, he moved to Bozeman, Montana to study Mechanical Engineering at Montana State University. He later met his wife at college and soon after got married. Upon graduating, they moved down to Denver, Colorado in search of new jobs and to be near family. After working a couple years as an engineer, Brenden wanted to do something different and teach so he enrolled in the Boettcher Teacher Residency program where he student taught at William Smith. After completing the program, Brenden was hired in 2018 at William Smith to teach math and science. Outside of school, Brenden and his family love to be outside and travel. They go hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, you name it! Brenden loves his wife, his baby girl, and two dogs (who do everything together).

Adam is a Math Teacher at William Smith High school in Aurora Public Schools. He was born and raised in Colorado and went to College at Colorado State University Pueblo. Adam studied Mathematics and Education in college. He coached at a local high school and worked in The Math laboratory helping students with Math in college. After college he taught and coached in two other districts before joining the William Smith Staff. He is proud to be a WSHS Eagle and looks forward to working with students and families in the Aurora Public School community.
